This is a beautiful hand silk screen printed Fukutora Character from my original drawing.
FUKUTORA.....FUKUTORA(TORA: Means Tiger in Japanese. Fuku: Means luck in Japanese) is a character I created. This character is combination of the traditional Japanese characters called MANEKINEKO and FUKUSUKE.

MANEKI NEKO: The Maneki Neko (招き猫, literally "Beckoning Cat"; also known as Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Techno Cat, Money cat or Fortune Cat) is a common Japanese sculpture, often made of porcelain or ceramic, which is believed to bring good luck to the owner.

FUKUSUKE: There are a few origins of Fukusuke. The most famous one is that Fukusuke was a merchant in Kyoto in Edo period (1603-1867). He was remarkably successful in apparel businesses.
Therefore, Fukusuke dolls are believed to make businesses prosperous in Japan.

Both characters are believed to bring happiness and wellness to you. What could be better than having elements of both in one!
